NetBeans connects developers! Host your team's project on kenai.com
and benefit from the NetBeans IDE's unique integration of project management tasks.
Access to Project Hosting and Management
The NetBeans IDE is well integrated with Project Kenai,
a collaborative environment where developers can host open-source projects.
With Kenai and the NetBeans IDE, a team of developers is able
to create projects, check out, edit, debug, discuss, and commit code,
all through one easy-to-use interface.
Developer Collaboration on Kenai.com
Login to Kenai.com
and create a new team project from within the IDE, or share an existing project.
Invite team members and keep in touch: Kenai.com chat rooms
and presence service for project members are all smoothly integrated into the IDE.
You can also search for and join other Kenai-hosted projects from the IDE's Kenai window.

Integrated File Version Control
The NetBeans IDE makes accessing CVS, Mercurial, or Subversion repositories easy.
Integrated version control access to Kenai.com is even pre-configured for Subversion and Mercurial:
Get sources for Kenai-hosted projects, and they open right in the IDE.
Integrated Issue Tracker
The user-friendly issue tracker integration allows you to commit
code changes and change the issue status in one step!
Use it with Kenai.com projects to take advantage of automatic repository set-up,
or configure the IDE to use your own Jira or BugZilla repository.
The Jira plugin is available from the
Beta Update Center.
Create new issues and edit existing issues;
sort and filter issues and save queries;
create patches and add attachments—all from inside the IDE.

Integrated Issue/Editor Navigation
Not only do you navigate easily between issues,
but also between the editor and the issue tracker:
Click a stacktrace attached to an issue to jump directly
to the affected line in the source code.
Apply patches attached to issues directly to the file in question.
Open the issue by clicking any reference in the IDE:
The reference can be in the source code or comments,
in versioning annotations, in a commit message, etc.
